I'm planning on taking a trip over to Kittery Trading Post.

Wondering if Maine and NH sell to NJ residents that have a valid NJ Firearms Purchase.

Also... are there any other good places to check out closer to where I am? I'm staying in Milton, NH.

Wondering what the odds are of finding a unicorn and/or a Kel-Tec KSG that is selling at or close to MSRP vs. the Gunbroker assrape price.

Thanks guys.

I don't believe KTP checks IDs. That's only near the MA border. If you introduce that information, you may be inviting a pain for yourself, so if you can legally buy it, I would just smile and pay.

That kind of blows my mind to even hear, but ok.
So they don't even do background checks for rifles and shotguns?

Of course they do. I thought you were speaking of ammo. They should sell you a long gun out of state but you can only buy a handgun in your own state. I don't recall what the interstate laws are on buying long guns.

He was talking about ammo sales. KTP does the legally required checks for gun sales.

Ha. Ok. That makes sense.
I'm just looking at long guns and shotguns.

That's what I'm trying to figure out. If its the state I'm trying to buy in that decides if my purchase ID is enough or my state that says where I can use it

I haven't seen a KSG in stock anywhere at any price.  I'm at KTP almost daily, Rileys and Shooters once a week or so.

They would probably only ID you if buying a firearm.  They have never carded me for ammo or accessories.  Not that they have anything in stock anyway....

I just heard from a neighbor that KTP had a 2 hour wait just to get to the gun counter.

That's all I need to hear. No point in making a 30-45 minute drive to wait just to window shop.

I'm sure they don't have anything I really need for accessories.

I doubt they have any mags in stock.

What was the 9mm and .223 stock like? I'm guessing empty or inflated prices?

They don't have any guns left.  What's the wait for?  They have zero 9mm, .45, .223/5.56, 22lr.  They have 5 boxes or so of .45 defense ammo, tons of .40, some .308 hunting stuff.

They have no AR's, no used semi auto handguns, no tactical looking anything, not even 10/22's.  No mags at all.  Some used mags but it's mostly older stuff that's 10 rd capacity.

Unless they got a crate of AR's or AK's or something today I can't imagine why there's a wait.

Thanks man. You just saved me a pointless trip.

What other decent shops are in the area that aren't just Fudd guns?

Rileys is pretty well stocked in accessories

Bit of a hike as well. I think KTP is closer. I think I'm closer to Conway than Hooksett.

Seriously?  I was just there about a week ago and they had quite a few used handguns and plenty of ammo.

Use this to see their used stock:

http://www.ktpguns.com/

ETA:  Shows 117 used pistols.

Renaissance Arms in Gonic, next to Rochester.
Old Post Office Antiques in Ossipee - only open Thursday to Saturday.  Only C&R inventory.
Whit Mountain Firearms in Conway - closed Mondays

Village Gun Store in Whitefield but that's quite a hike, too.
