I love my HK USP Compact, but I think it's time to move on to something else.  I am heavilly considering selling it and buying myself a SA Champion.  I hate to sell any of my guns but I think it's time to move up to a .45 I can carry.  Wudda you guys think?

I can dig around in my couch cushions and find enough change to buy one of those...

No complaints about my Glock 19 and I'm saving for a 21.  I must admit, the Springfield XD-45 fit my hand verrrrry nicely.  A touch narrower than the G21 and a full 13 round mag.  The XD also has dove-tailed f/r sights, so no worries about plastic sights leaving the scene while your gun is in use.  It's also about $100.00 cheaper (give or take).  I'm a Glock fan-boy, but the XD-45 has got me thinkin'.

I carried a 1911 for a short while until I sold it.  Actually, I had two.  One SA 5" and one C*lt Officer's Model.  They're ok guns but I don't spring wood over them.

Heck Mac, a tall, lankey guy like you could get away with a 6" bbl S&W Model 29 (.44 Mag) vertical in a shoulder holster.  That would be bad ass.
