If so where do I get the parts how does this all work?

Someone told me I can build one for about $700 is that true?
Please help

Just that you cant have more than 10 mags and some specific things in the AR that I know you would have to check out www.calguns.net which is the best site for calilforina people...

He means 10 round mags.

And in all honesty the topic Paul has tacked at the top of this forum is one of the best sources for all things regarding weapons laws in California. It was put there to help people, and it really is better than anything at Calguns as most of the stuff at Calguns only deals with AR/AK series weapons and their legality. Paul's goes in depth on many subjects and proper ways to do things legally in California. If you haven't checked it out, go read it before you do something like getting an AR.
