took out $200 at the atm and went to the gun show
spent $90 on stuff . that was around 12noon then at 5pm I went to go get lottery tickets and cant find the cash
I have spent the last 2 hours looking but its gone. It is possible that I might have dropped it at the show or it fell out of my pocket at some time

This is why I don't carry more than a few $$$ anymore.  Lose your debit card and they give you back the $$$ that gets stolen from you.  Lose cash and you're just screwed.

but cash purchases are not traceable.  I don't have a debit card,  use cash for almost all purchases.

You are correct about lost money,  fortunately I haven't lost any cash in almost 40 years
