The way that is written, it almost sounds like FA would be legal since it says.
WHEREAS, the right to keep and bear arms should not be abridged, infringed upon, or in any way limited by the action of any branch of the federal government or a state or local government.

So...a fancy letter to Obama opposing awb type legislature? What good is this? Did I miss something?

Yeah, this is just a resolution, not a law.

Think of it like you and me, sending our little letters to congress and the other elected officials.  Only this letter carries *slightly* more weight.  It's definitely not a bad thing.  A few state legislature guys are working on Wyoming style legislation.  I imagine that will be a little harder to pass, and will require Beebe's signature.

Looks like they just took the constitutionally questionable portions of the Wyoming law out, like arresting and fining federal agents and what not.
