Well there is no excuse to why I have been putting this purchase off but I have. Well with enough tip money I went out and got an 36 gun Elite gun safe. Fire resantant and digital face. As you can see its ALOT bigger and nicer than my old one. Thanks to all my friends that helped move it in the house. ITS HEAVY!!!!!
Here is my old safe

And here is my new one

I feel MUCH safer now!!!!!  Slug-O-Matic

Hey, sweet safe, Slug-O. Why didn't say anything about needing help? I would have been glad to supervise.

No, I didn't get a tip.

And yes, we had to eventually get a hand cart

I'm definitely with you on this one.

When I brought my (700 lb) safe in, it was just me, a (skinny) guy from work, and a cheap handcart to get it up two flights of stairs.

Let me tell you it was an adventure getting that thing up one loooooooooong step at a time on tires that were squished almost down to the rim.  The next day it felt like I'd done a killer leg workout, and I decided if I ever sell the house the safe stays put.

Awesome safe and don't mean to rain on your parade, but I am sure in a year or two you are going to be wishing you bought a bigger one.
