I'd like to find a holster that I can put between the split in the seat of my F150.

I have a 40/60 front seat that I'd like to put the holster in the crack between the sections.  The problem I see with it, is holding it in place so that it doesn't slip down below the seat.

Then again, I'm also looking for a carry rig for the summer that I don't need a jacket to carry concealed.

Just make a metal bracket and screw it down. Something like the aftermarket radio mounts. Or, a metal separator for files. Anything like that wouldn't cost diddly and be easy to work with. Doesn't hafta bear much weight, so it doesn't need to be heavy duty. Gotta start thinking like a packrat, DIY old guy.

My 1911 in a Kramer IWB wedges nicely between the 60/40 split in my truck.  I haven't had a problem with it slipping yet....

I sometimes do the same with my IWB.  I hate removing my holster each time I do it though.
