It was 16 degrees at my house this morning.  We had 2" of snow that was not predicted yesterday morning.

Bring back the 70* December days.

LOLROTFL!...............................

Good Lord... yes please................ The wind is kicking today and I swear it is close to zero out there with wind chill. I let my wife talk me into going to wal mart with her. (As a husband I get to push the cart!) OMG, it hurt to breathe! On the way out my wife said her eyeballs froze. My old hands hurt like heck too. Damn freezing wind sucked all the heat outta my upholstery shop last night too. I've got a huge blower heater running now trying to make up for that.

Aren't we supposed to have mild winters here?

I blame Algore.

Yeah here too, about 23 not including the wind chill. I just got back from WM myself, stuff I forgot to get Sunday. When I did my weekly grocery shopping.

I'm not sure how to take this thread  Hell it was about 6 this morning, and with the 20-30mph wind it was about -10 to -15  Ask me about cold

Fuck the cold! Love hockey-hate the cold that goes with it. My Dobie does seem to be impervious to it-damn Russian breeding.

And as if to add insult to injury, the NWS has just issued a Winter Storm Watch for central and south central VA through tomorrow night.

Raise your hand if you have had enough of winter already!  Just think, Winter doesn't actually start for a few more days.

I've been watching the forecast for the past few days.

I commute 30 miles to Charlottesville, and for a while they were calling for sleet.

Now it's just 2"-4", but not starting until 9AM.

I'm debating on whether to work from home or go in to work.  Been working for 38 years, and this would only be the second or third time that weather has kept me from going in.

But I hear the drivers around here are no better in snow than those that I left in NOVA.  I'm not up for a 2 hour drive that should only take 40 minutes.

I work retail, and the snow just kills business.  If I believed in global warming, I'd be burning tires behind the store all day tomorrow.

You guys should be loving the cold, because all of the real global warming activists are keeping their mouths shut for the time being. :P
