Where're you at? I know several guys that chase, catch & kill hogs with dogs. Friend of mine who
lets him run his dogs on his cattle ranch sez once the dogs tear up a hog, they stay gone for
several months.

Sure enough, I was drivin' with him one day, and the place next to him was tore up, and the
smart little piggies stayed on the other side of the high fence (they could dig under is seconds-
mainly sand)

He needs to run the dogs alot to keep them up for the contest's he enters; so he's always
lookin for a place to scrimage.

IM me or email  Hank_juggs at yahoo & I'll get you in contact; I'm not sure how far he'll
travel (we're outside Austin), but it's worth a shot.

You could strafe the entire area with a couple of A-10's and still not kill them all.

The only other option would be to push them into a temporary fenceline and corner them with a dozen guys, have at them with buckshot, ak, ar, fal, etc.

They all look related.

Seriously, they all look like they have a strong strain of Russian in them. I couldn't see the whole vid. because my computers too slow but I didn't see a spotted barnyard or white Arnold pig in the bunch.

Classy!  Pits I am guessing? I get to see the dumped mangled but still alive losers of dog fights all the time here in North Houston - very impressive! I especially like it when they steal someone's lab or golden to throw in the pen.  That is some real sport!

I would love to go hog hunting.  I wish I had some land to take my AR out to hunt some hogs.

We could get 5 or 6 guys standing in my HUMMER and go around shootin them.

Ummm, I'm going to say no.

Hog dogs and fighting dogs are completely different.  I hate dog fighting also but your post is ignorant.

In for the arfcom hog slaughter.  I need meat in the freezer.

Just about everybody that I know that runs dogs uses pits as the catch dogs.

That may be true, but the pits santini was referring to have nothing to do with this subject.  Every hog runner I've met cared for their dogs very well.

Exactly.

Invite 25 of your closest ARFCOM friends over (hello friend ), pick out a good ambush spot (can you lure them into a canyon?), saturate the area with some corn, quickly followed by a shit load of brass.

I'd gladly come help with this project.

Napalm cooks the hogs all the way thru.   And burns off the thick hide, too.

I agree, blood sport of any kind is just sad.  I was raised by a 3 tour Vietnam vet and it was all about taking game humanely.  Great hunter and all about shot placement.  Of course the last two tours he flew UH1s as either a troop carrier or medavac so I am sure he saw enough blood for a lifetime.  For yall who think it is cool to watch dogs tear apart another animal, I am guessing kind of missed the point of hunting or even vermin eradication.  My friend has it right - FAIL!

Moreover, many wild hogs in eastern Europe (and even as far away as northern Germany) are testing positive for dangerously high levels of radiation, even now, 24 years after Chernobyl.
