Which crowne plaza is that? The one on Delk Rd? (yes it is, near Franklin, you should CCW JHP) I stayed at the Drury Inn across the highway when I moved down here, tons of people milling about at 2 a.m. Clean out your vehicle. Delkwood Bar & Grill to your east a mile or so on the left is great barfood, Cracka Barrel across the street. Movie theatre east across from the Delkwood. Hot shots indoor range is about 15 minutes from there. Want to go to the Pickens Co. range with a bunch of rednecks on the weekends?  What is this Mardi Gras you speak of? |

this is the CP on
powers ferry rd i have stayed there many times and never had a problem. i will be there thru next weekend. then at homewood suits a couple of miles away. Homewood suites has free beer and food at night if anyone wants to come down a few. mike |

Ah. I see not on Delk and Franklin. I only got into guns because I was put into a hotel near Delk & Franklin when I moved down here. Before that I only owned a 22lr! You're about 4 miles from my house crow-wise. Do you like Indian food? Thai? Vietnamese? Brazilian? real Mexican with the bullet holes in the glass? |

There is some killer brazilian places in that area. I would not recomend Sau Grosso though, the food there is not as good as other places. If you want cheap stay on Delk and go right past the Speghetti place on the left called Copacabana Grill, good and cheap to boot.

My wife and I are partial to the pony, fun place to hange out and get sloppy drunk. The cheetah is way to expensive and marti gra's is just skanky and if you want to catch a disease go to the marti-gra.
