What type of business is this that the owner feels they're more protected from harm by putting up a "no weapons" sign?

The sign is small, and we don't have an owner

Its really sad what makes the sheep feel safe. I am going to walk past that sign every day without changing anything about my normal routine.

Its funny....one of the parts stores in town has similar signs on their doors.....ive bought and sold guns across that parts counter
