As unbelievable as this sounds, I was shooting at a plastic quart oil container in the back yard and it somehow managed to stop the round. It's the cheap .40 cal winchester in the white box, 165gr.

It was fired from my Glock.
It has very slight deformation, lengthwise, due to the polygonal barrel. But other than that I don't see anything. EDIT: Meant to say hexagonal barrel. I was thinking of my old USP when I said polygonal. |

Easy question. Easier answer. If drawn from a dash mounted holster, on a school campus, with a letter from a Dean, while enroute to the Post Office, a plastic quart of oil container (empty) will indeed stop a .40 cal with no tool marks at 100ft every single time.  YMMV/ WWYPFI.  |
