I think there is a rack in Little Rock and one in Springfield. I talked to a tanker driver that said he loads up at which ever is lowest cost that particular day.
The pipelines probably come up from the Gulf, for Arkansas anyway.

Razorback pipeline is located in Rogers. I used to have a buddy that worked there. He is up at the station in Mt. Vernon Mo now. I would go have lunch/hang out from time. Very cool place. It is a small tank farm with the piepline coming in from Mt. Vernon.

Interresting,

The fuel gets cheaper the futher away from the source. Our fuel is 2.99 and there is a drilling rig every direction you look from my house. Then we also have a refinnery 40 miles from our town. My in-laws have a ranch down in Southern Arkansas. The cost of fuel has always been cheaper there, then here in West Texas.

I lived in Odessa years back,  and always wondered why we paid so much for gas, with the refinery right next door in Big Spring.

It seemed like the further you got from Big Spring, the cheaper the gas was.

why is the price different?  "Taxes" are different in different states, counties, towns etc.

Our area has historicaly been higher than even other parts of Texas as well as parts of the country. Here is a nation wide fuel map, I'm located in the only orange squares in West Texas up near the New Mexico border.

Yes sir, I live 20 miles closer to Big Spring than you did but you guys had fuel usualy .03-.05 cheaper than we do. How does that work...the fuel for Odessa has to come through my city first. Then on top of it, I think Big Springs ships fuel as far north as Lubbock which is about 117 miles north or me but their fuel is cheaper? The price you pay for livng in the Home of Bush I guess LOL
