Olympia too! My wife and I like Oly as well. Especially since I recently found a job. Boom_Stick (B_S for short? ), an accurate assessment from what I've seen. I have a friend graduating from there this spring and he confirms your analysis is right on! However, numerous overpaid state workers are soon to be unemployed. |

I grew up in Spokane and wish I could move back to that area. Working for the railroad, I could excercie my seniority and transfer there, but it's just my luck that everyone BUT my wife seems to be getting laid off from Boeing. It's too good of a job to just up and quit, and with both our families near us in the Snohomish area, I'm likely stuck here. I'm glad we at least own a decent home here, I don't know it we could afford it now. |
