Actaully, the first preseason game is scheduled for Sep 23rd.  And last I heard they were a long way from agreeing on a new CBA so there likely won't be much of an NHL season this year.

They'll all be together, the question is whether they'll be playing at the Phone Booth or up in Portland.

I won't go see a Caps game because of the trade of BONDRA.

+1

However, if they do begin the season I'm going to make fast friends with Cliffy

Thank God Portis finally had a great game. I'm starting to get the feeling Brunnel needs to take a seat and Ramsey take over at QB. The lack of a decent passing game is killing there real weapon - Clinton Portis.

You know I don't have the sharpest memory in the world, but I don't recall Ramsey fumbling as much as Brunnel does.

I don't think its really about Brunnels fumbles; it’s more about his inability to throw the deep ball and force the defence to open up. Defenses know Brunnel can't do it, so they just key on Portis. Ramsey for all his faults at least has the threat of throwing the deep ball.
