I've seen TONS of snows and speckelbellies. Especially in both the Brookshire rice fields and Anahuac area.

Looks like a good goose year, and there's a front hitting us right now in the Greater Houston area.

You make me want to carry 90 lbs of rags across a swampy rice pattie at 4 in the morning and lay in ice cold mud for two hours to shoot birds that are gonna take all day to clean and yeild a few strips of chicken fried Goose Breast .....uh wait..that sounds like work....

I agree.  Goose hunting is fun, but, man it is alot of trouble to do it, and not enough meat to enjoy.
