ETA: well screw that. Ferrer vs. Bloomberg. Money talks, Ferrer walks.
Way back when (before I even thought about owning a firearm!) I used to work for Anthony The Weiner. We always knew his best chance was a 1 on 1 race, whether in teh primary or general election. Our biggest enemy was Miller when I was there (about two years ago) and Miller just barely got, what, 10% in the primary! wow. Anyone else surprised? Thing is, Wiener always looks better than opponent in 1 on 1 matches. Young, idealistic, Jewish and Italian, single (ladies do vote!), good track record.
and now he's got his first real 1 on 1 race.
(After I realized how I felt about firearms and that my employer was actually the opposite of me on ALL levels of the political spectrum I still stayed there cause I figured helping him win the mayoral election would get him off of the national legislative level which affects more gun owning americans.... Wierd logic I know.)
