Hey Guys,

I'm going to be making a old family German recipe and need to find a recommended butcher shop. The one I usually use went belly-up.

I can't get the meat cut like I want at a place like a Randall's or Kroger so I need to go the local butcher route.

I'm on the west side of town in Spring Branch.

Any suggestions?

What's the problem with cutting it yourself? Sharp knife and a little practice, you should do fine.

B & W Meat Market on Shepard, just south of Pinemont. Been there for 40 years and still do things the old fashion way!

Oh, und was machen sie zu essen?

clear lake meat market???
on kirby in Clear lake?

i don't know but will check for you.
it's an old family place.
i can get custom cut steaks. 2" thick if i want

The Smokehouse. I get a lot of meat from there. About a block or so off NASA One on Kirby.

Thanks guys.

I ended up using a place in Tomball. They know what I was cooking and exactly how to gut the beef.

And damn it sure did turn out great.
