Nominate and give feedback for the home bar. Please do not just "+1" restate the name of the bar so it is easy to count "votes"

Buffalo Wild Wings is pretty much out of the question because they don't allow smoking at all except in the bar area, and there are no tables that will fit everyone in the bar area.

I think El Real will be the NW spot, unless we find a better place.

Honestly though, not to put down this idea, I think the method before worked well. It seemed to be this one time, where one person had a problem with finding the wings place off I-45, and then decided on a place without thinking about the traffic situation at this time of year, but it's not that big of deal, except that COZ had made plans for the meet that was going to be at the wings place on I45, and because it was changed back, it messed up his plans.

The Tailgate Bar and Grill- Washington and I-10

OR

The Front Porch

Both are centrally located to everyone and easy to get to.

Personally, I think this is silly. We have done this for two years without formal "RULES"The only reason this is a problem is that Voldermortist tried to acocomodate a couple of folks and ended up annoying more than were originally complaining about the location.

If we are ging to organize this, then the home bar should be centrally located.

I'd prefer the Tailgate Bar for a "central" location.

For the NW side, El Real is good or Wings & Things on 1960@Kuykendahl. They have a large outdoor dining area where we can smoke.

That would be cool.

COZ: My point is that anyone can post. If somone wantsw to hit the NW side once every month or two months, you just have to post it.

I am all for going to the north side once every couple of months.

Same with the South side.

People drive into downtown- now granted its central for the south, eas t and west and even the north siders, but they driuve. I, personally, have made most every meeting for the past two years. I have also said we should take it outside the loop occasionally to be fair to everyone.

Generally, the best attendance has been at the central locations becasue everyone can get to them. You don't end up with one side of town having an hour commute.

The biggest prroblem with Wolfies has been getting down FM1960. My trek down that road is as long as the drive from downtown.

My vote for the home bar is Front Porch. We've been going there since the begining with no problem ( I'm not counting miss fuzzybritches). However I see no need for formalizing this. Its worked way too well for way too long for a bunch of new rules to be added.

I'll vote for that or tailgate on bagby. one of those two.

ETA: I withdraw my vote of front porch because it's mostly outdoors and will really suck if it rains. so tailgate bar for my vote.

How about not posting next week's location on THURSDAY FUCKING NIGHT ?!?!

Whats that place with the $5 pitchers and pizza's!! It rocks!

I also like the Front porch, BW3 on Grey was nice. Texadelphia on Westheimer is good.

If the Tail Gate is the place on Washington and I10 then I dont like that place because of the live bands(Read, sucks and loud!)

FWIW, my trucks club rotates the locations for "meetings" each month....not everyone lives inside the loop.

waitresses who will take the time to wait on you!

i would go wet spot-tailgate-front porch but if there is a game on the parking sucks
