Well, not too much as far as Browning history is concerned... but I do have a lot of other history
Dou code RC Mauser k98--Suppossedly this is one of the rarer codes, but I'm not sure
SMLE #1 Mk 3--missing front top HG, but other wood appears to be original; if I remember right it's a BSA, dated 1917 or 1918
Greek Return M1--Serial puts it into the 1950s for manufacture, but still lots of history in the stock carvings at least
Japanese Type 38 not too special
Type 99 with a 4 digit serial number (too bad bubba got ahold of it
)
Type I--one of only 60,000 ever made--Italian receiver, Japanese caliber, stocks, etc
Several more that don't have tons of history, but I still love them
One more that has personal significance: I have a black powder rifle my grandfather assembled from a kit. He died when I was about 2, so I have no recollection of him. I'll never shoot the thing, I doubt whether it would be safe, but I refinished the stock, and will always hold onto the thing for the memories.
