I was thinking of coming down to Houston this weekend for this show. Is it worth a 3 hour drive from near Austin?

I'm an Austinite that happens to be in Houston so I'll be there.  It's not as big as the HGCA show at the old AstroHall but it still beats the Austin Saxet show...  Actually most anything beats the Austin Saxet show

Yes. The Austin Saxet show does suck. It's mostly beef jerky, and jewelry. Not to mention that most of the time they are WAY too proud of their guns. Every once in a while you will find a good deal, but it's not often.

The GRB shows are normally pretty good.

I don't want to be negative but, I hope they (meaning the city or whoever runs the convention center) does something with the parking situation.

I've never been to GRB (not through lack of desire, just life getting in the way...)

Anything you caqn tell me about going, parking, etc?

There are some lots around the GRB that you can park in for maybe $8.

If you get there early enough (and if you don't mind a short walk), you can park on some of the streets by Minute Maid Park on the cheap!!!
..of course, there may be dog shows, house and garden shows, cheerleading clinics, Bahai temple meetings, etc, etc, happening as well...

Sean-

I restocked my 03A3 with a Boyds stock, but I kept the original wood. Give me a yell, I'll bring it to work and you can look at it, (Lyric Centre).
