They did make Wing Commander IV: The Price of Freedom...it was one of the highest budget computer games ever with a budget of $25million Wing Commander Prophecy was released in 1997, and Secret Ops the summer of 1998 online only. Chris Roberts (the series creator) Left Origin after Wing Commander IV...after Prophecy and Secret Ops the series has been shelved by Origin indefinitely. |

. No, I haven't worked a real ordnance project on that aircraft in na couple years. Actually, the last ordnance job I worked on was a design to hang a Chain Gun® on a carbon/graphite composite turret out the door of a special ops UH-60 but it's still in a prototype/dem/val phase.... And yes, I really do want a SST-870 Security with M4 SOCOM stock. |

woah I'd think a large caliber chain gun on the side of a UH 60 would make it hard to fly...Boeing should sell all the crazy ideas that don't work well to the video game companies, they eat that shit up. I dunno how many games I have seen the G11 or Pancor jackhammer in when they never were mass produced. |
