Dude, the Cope cans in Canada are half the size, and $7.99 CAN. With our lousy exhcange rate lately, that means an equivalent can of Copenhagen in Canada costs almost $13!!!! I was there recently with a friend who does Copenhagen, and he almost vowed to quit, since we were there for 3 days.....

Another friend from college used to go through a can every day! First thing he did in the morning was take a dip. I've only done snuff once in my life (Skoal long cut) and it FUBAR'd me BAD! I was totally wasted on booze, and 5 minutes after taking the dip, I was blowing chunks in the bathroom. Ugh, I still remember that, and it was 12 years ago!!

When did they do that? It was always the same export cans they ship all over the world.

I was in Vancouver two weeks ago when we noticed the size of the can. He compared the BC can to one he had brought with him, and it contained a lot less snuff.

Quit cigarettes and Skoal in Jan '94--never missed the smoke but would get almost uncontrolable cravings for the dip for about 2 years and it sneaks up occasionally even now
'Course I quit after a few days stay in Tacoma Gen after a heart attack
Good luck JAFO!

I can't believe how much tobacco products cost in this state. Is a can of Copenhagen really $8? That's insane. One of the newhires at work is retired Navy and he bought another guy a roll of 5 cans of Copenhagen for $11 at the Everett NS store.

The cost is outragous, I usually buy mine from the myriad of local indian smoke shops down between Puyallup and Tacoma. Prices are usually half that of the 7-11's in the area or right around 4.25 a can.

I quit smoking here a couple weeks ago and dammit all if I don't miss the Cope more than the smoking.
