The Paterson gunsmith is asking about $70 to install my Yankee Hill Machine four rail free float handguard.

I'd much rather bring my business to someone on the board, especially if y'all can do it cheaper.

I charge 35.00 per hour. It takes less than one hour to install. With the right tools. I can send pics of some that i have done if you want.

Contact Racer934, he's doing a set for me right now and it'll definitely be less than $75.

Where in NJ are you? A few of us in the Morris County area have installed the YHM, DD and I just installed my LaRue today (10/10/04).

If you want to try it yourself and are close I'd be glad to give you a hand. Otherwise $40.00 to have a profesional do it with a week is a great deal.

FMJunkie is right, might as well do it yourself. Spend the money on tools and the tape. It's worth it. I'll tell you this, I"ve swapped barrels between my builds once or twice already. You will save in the long run. Btw, the guy who's charing 40 bucks is a great price. Either that hook up with Map. He's a good guy and if he's offering take him up on the offer.

Just don't forget the donuts for Map.

If you wait till after gunstock I will do it for free. You just need to come to my house on Long Island.

This is my Yankee Hill on my Beowulf

Edited..Sorry I jumped right to the bottom If you don't want me to do it MAP is the man. $40.00 between tolls and gas it would cost you that much to get to my house I think
