Excellent. Hopefully it gets even colder around 7:00pm and keeps the older kids home. Last year I had a nice chat with a 12-14yr old after he thought it would be funny to grab 2 handfuls of candy, scare the heck out of my son and call me a fool.... he wasn't laughing long, but his friends and I were after he peed his pants.... LMAO!!!!! |

We just set out a bowl and visit our nieces & nephews.
Nice night to brew up a big pot of chili. |

Mmmm, chili.
We have about 3 houses in as many miles, so not much worry about the kids. Too bad, too, cause we used to put up some wicked decorations. |

Where's the chili? I need to trick or treat at that house....   6:15pm and already had about 30 kids. No drawing down or urine soaked pants to report at this time.  ETA: 7:02pm and we are probably up over 60. Good thing we bought a ton o' candy! No real winner costumes though.  If we get a prize winner, they get the famous 'BOWL DUMP'. |

7:30 about 50 goblins 9:00 Porch Light is Out and right around 70 total. Happy Halloween |

About the same number here so far. They better stop soon or I won't have any surplus candy to munch tonight.

Some of those poor kids were so cold! In Colorado, you learn early to trick or treat in a warm costume, Eskimo, Battle of the Bulge trooper, furry animal, etc.
