Cross posting from the HK section of the armory since it hasn’t generated any leads. I probably should have asked here first anyways since I would prefer to deal local anyways.

Does anyone have a HK straightening mandrel for rent or sale? Or know an HK gunsmith that is local?

I recently bent a HK parts flat using a 3d printed jig. It went well, but I can see an ever so slight curve on the top and I want to make sure I get everything in spec before welding.

I am waiting for my BCG to get here to try the bolt drop test.

This is my first HK build, and I am already falling in love.
It appears there used to be quite a few people renting jigs out back in the day, then it kinda died. In the case of renting it, I would be willing to pay the full price of the item until I returned it at which point you could return the money minus your fee.

Or if anyone has one for sale, I would possibly be interested in picking one up.

Any pointers or other ideas would also be appreciated!
