Basically OR is looking to take away some of our CHL rights. The bill is scheduled again for Wednesday. The link is to the original introduction of the bill. Lets kill it again!!

I will contact as always, but this part is confusing:


The bill has added language to deny CHL's unless the applicant "Is not an unlawful user of, or addicted to, a controlled substance.


Reading through all the double-negatives in that sentence is confusing.  "deny...unless... is not.."

Yup, thats the point. Essentially it is shifting it from innocent unless proven guilty to well how do we know your not guilty. They are trying to make a small shift now to eventually get back to shall issue.
