What type of Gunsmith?

Some of the Smiths are specialized. They only work only do work on certain types of firearms ( shotguns, bolt actions, pistols, AW, etc....)

What does your friend need done? Assembly, refinish, trigger job, new sites, OEM replacement parts, and custom work????

My friend wants a trigger job done on a semi-auto handgun.  I checked Larry's site and he seems to indicate he only works on AR's or variants.
