I am thinking of buying a RPD kit and but before I drop the coin I wanted to see if there are any MO gunsmiths that could put it together for me as I am not the mechanical type. Also I am still looking for the semi auto reciever. Any one have experience with this?

Vector made the only factory receivers and the only (as far as I am aware) semi Auto guns. The only receivers other than that (if you can find one of them) is the Prexis 80% either inside or outside will require machining. As well it will need conversion to semi auto, I believe Weaponeer or Gunco probably has instructions or a build forum for this.

Vector arms, pretty well known but they have had some problems and are not quite in business anymore...
