You have one of those nifty 10/22 gatlin guns. How much bother was it to get working?

Your 50s should have matching scopes.

You need to replace that 10x42 with another 8-40x56.

Do those 50's ever see the range?
You and Phil should go into business of selling ammo.

And more importantly, does that scope stand up to the recoil?

That scope is a Tasco Custom Shop 8-40x56. The M1A is a Shanghai Shooter, #256. The red and grey laminated stock was made by yours truly, from a rough cut block. I chose those colors to get in touch with my feminine side. It took  my spare time for the better part of a year. It's a bolt action 50BMG, also. I put both together way back when Klaus Horstkamp was getting started. I met him through another old U-Boat machinist in Burbank, Ca. No, the 50's don't see much daylight, only because my schedule is always fubar'ed. Iactually had BOTH at the last lcr, but I decided not to see how they'd shoot underwater. The "gatling" kit's a hoot, but took lotsa tinkering to run right. Just sold it, but I still have another kit for M1 carbines.

"minute of beercan" is my standard. Seriously, they're both real good. I put the scope on the "little" one just before lcr last spring and completely forgot to sight it in, or even boresight it. It wasn't hitting "minute of barndoor" that day. I hadn't even tightened it down. The other one, I call Big Red, had a bipod on it, but I knocked the mount apart, by shooting Bosnian milsurp machine gun shit through it. oweecheewowee!

this is how a clasic m14 should look, You know mine started out as a chicom too but is has been converted to a Sino-American, basicly every part on it is USGI except the reciever, becouse at the time I built it there were no american made forged recievers except the originals.and here is another with a diferent stock
