Anyone know of any gun ranges (besides silver bullet) that's near downtown GR?  I'm looking for an outdoor one that I can shoot my pistol, shotgun, and rifle at.  The closest one I'm finding is West Walker Sportman's Club which is only about 20 minutes away.  Anyone have any experience with them?  Any other ranges you'd recommend?  Any and all help is greatly appreciated, thanks!

Barry County Concervation Club is about 45 minutes south. $40 a year and they give you the combination to the lock.

Used to be a member at South Kent Sportsmans Club.   A few miles west of Dorr.

Little ways out, but they do have several ranges available.

Care to elaborate on the first part?  PMs are fine.

Obviously not the original poster, but I've shot at West Walker as a guest and I work with a couple of guys that are members.  That place tends to be mainly a shotgun club from what I've gathered, and they don't allow much in the way of "action shooting" due to all the neighbors they currently have.  Just a guess based on past experience, but I'm guessing the shotgunners don't look to fondly upon those of us with black rifles, or who like to practice drawing, shooting on the move or working with multiple targets.

We have a good mix of all disciplines at South Kent. We have shotgunners, silhouette shooters, action pistol, etc and everyone seems to get along. Some cross over between disciplines. Our board is of mix of all of them.

WW you are very very restricted and they have range officers at times no draw from holster or moving. Another thing 2 of the past treasure's accused of taking club moneys from WW. I work close to WW and choose to drive over to SKSC the board is much better they are always upgrading the ranges and good at fixing the problem areas. The current problem at SKSC is the bunkers seem to be full all the time but they are adding more at this time.
