Follow-on/up to the thread in GD talking about gun laws in TX. What's the legality of defending monuments from defacement in IN? In particular, heard on the radio that the Confederate memorial (to those 1700 PoW's that died here in Indianapolis prisoner camp) was taken at by some goblin with a hammer.  Not planning on doing any do-gooder'ing, but just curious...for a friend.

Probably not any different than trying to defend any public property from being defaced.  I doubt any public representative would condone violence.

nope, no such provision in fact pointing a firearm at someone other then to prevent serious bodily injury or death is prohibited in Indiana.
