I think the food will be about $4 -5 per person for everything. I will ask for donations when we eat. If there is anyone who cant afford it, obviously they dont have to pay. Usually just leave a jar and everyone kicks in. I will know how much the food costs in a few days and will only accept enough to cover the cost of the food.
I dont think there will be any camping at TBS house as he's been working (believe it or not) pretty hard lately. He told me not this time. LWC |

Guys and Gals,
I hesitate to say this to our group becuase of the class of people we have at these shoots, but i need to say it anyways... It looks like we are going to have a VERY LARGE group this time including some local morning radio hosts and other VIPs from the community. Because of the large number of people and the fact that we will probably get some attention i just want to ask everyone for a few things... 1. please be safe (not really a problem with our group, but if you bring friends or new shooters please please keep an eye on them) TBS and I will be watching the line, but we need everyone to help with their guests. 2. no bump firing this time. we had too many rounds that didnt quite make it into the burm, and with this many people we dont need new shooters trying to bump fire an AK thier first time out. 3. tannerite is cool, film cannisters only as usual. 4. we'll be going range cold for about 45 mins for lunch, just a time to take a break and EAT. Please keep in mind we may be being watched and commented on so lets make sure we give the community a good impression of our group and the range! LWC |

Hotels depend on what kind of money you're looking into. The Sheraton and Winfrey and Tutwiler are the VIP spots. There are your average spots scattered around as usual - your LaQuita's and such. If you mean IN THE AREA, like, Pleasant Grove, I'm not real sure. I live in Birmingham (well, a little north, actually). What's your business in the Magic City? |
