Well, I finally get to go to the range. Problem is, it's only 40 rounds with the M-16A2, and 20 with the M9 Beretta. For score. No warm ups.

Anyway, things are going good over here, and I passed my PT test. Got a great crew, and the management is pretty decent. The Army over here treats us very well, with free chow, PX privileges, etc.

Gotta run, as this 'puter is only as fast as dial-up with all the folks on the server.

Keepin' the faith in Kosovo...

Glad to see you made it over there in one piece. I hope things go well. But seeing as you worked at Union Station, I have to ask, is it really safer there than it was downtown StL???

For those outside the loop, I am a security contractor with a firm doing force protection at the main US Army bases in Kosovo and Bosnia. I'm changing my location next week to another base inside Kosovo. Things are pretty good here.

Gotta run. My time's up on the 'puter.

You're right, there, LT. Problem is, we have an election coming up shortly here, and the locals are getting tense. Think "match". Then think "gasoline." It's all nice-nice now, but...

Anyway, I shot about average with my M-16, but got the highest score in the class with the M9. The front sight post on my rifle is bent, but they "say" they'll get me a new one "later."

At least I can hit what I aim at.

Keep me and Zeny in your prayers, guys. I'd appreciate it.

Hey, guys. Things are going very well, and I'm losing some weight by hitting the gym. No beer, no Filipino food, and all that jazz, as well. This is a multinational base, so I'm able to work on my languages.

Today we're studying PPCT, and it appears to be effective and tailored to our situation. Take a look atwww.ppct.com if you're in security or police work. It's an eye opener.

Well, have to run, due to time constraints on these computers. Keep the faith, guys.
