It looks they did the right thing and dropped the murder charge (but did return a CCW charge) against Rodney Roberts who shot Lorenzo Hunter after Hunter pulled a toy gun on him.

CLEVELAND (AP) - Two high school seniors, including one recognized as the best prep football player in Ohio, were indicted Wednesday in the shooting death of a teammate.

Lorenzo Hunter, 16, died April 16. Police said he and two other Benedictine High School students, all members of the school's state-champion football team, allegedly tried to use a toy gun to rob Rodney Roberts, who then pulled a real gun and began shooting.

A Cuyahoga County grand jury charged Raymond Williams (pictured playing, above) and Jon Huddleston, both 18, with murder, aggravated robbery and robbery.

Police had charged Roberts, 20, with aggravated murder. The grand jury only charged him with carrying a concealed weapon.

Benedictine High officials have suspended Williams and Huddleston indefinitely.

Williams, a running back, was named the 17th annual winner of The Ohio Associated Press Mr. Football award in November. West Virginia University has withdrawn its offer of a football scholarship to Williams.
