I'm planning a trip for a few months from now and I'm taking amtrak from philly to providence, which appears to be the cheapest route.  I need to get to Douglas, MA (near worcester).  I'm wondering if there are any taxi services in Providence that will get me to there, or if anyone on here would be willing to pick me up at the station and drop me off in Douglas.  I'd be willing to pay (obviously) for your time and fill up your gas tank.  Any advice or interested parties?  I've never been to RI or MA before so I'm somewhat nervous about this.

When is your trip?

And yeah, there's a shitload of taxis at the train station all of the time.

mid-late January most likely.  Do they go to MA as well?

Taxis will be very pricey. You're better off grabbing a Greyhound out of New London, CT, or Providence. A ticket from NL to Worcester is $30 each way.

If you want to play the system a bit, you might be able to get off in New London and take a free bus up to one of the casinos... then grab a bus from the casino up to Worcester. Might be cheaper.

Why not have whoever you are meeting in Douglas pick you up?  Not an option I'm guessing?
