Saw alot of AR's out there today. You couldn't ask for a better day.

I switched out the Leupold on the Sabre middy for an Aimpoint and had to sight it in, did a 50m zero.

I didn't get a chance to see who the local Black Rifle fans were that had come out to enjoy the day.

The Range Boss was joking about the AR fest going on!

Yep, that was me and two friends down at the bay right next to the steel plates at 100yards. (after we zeroed at 25)

I had my SR-25 and my DPMS AP4 (a 308 AR).

ARs should be in 308  :)

Buddy was shooting his bull barrelled Bushmaster AR
other buddy was playing around with his 556.

What were you shootin?

I had the 16"middy, Sabre Defence upper, Samson rail w/Aimpoint. Lower is Stag Arms with a Crane stock.

M4arc had his Eagle carbine in A2, that is a nice shooter.

That DPMS wasn't bad, recoil was light with that brake on it!

The 556 seemed nice, I would have to have more time on it though to pass judgement.

I enjoyed shooting your rifle.  Seemed pretty light, even with the rail.  Some I've held seemed heavier than yours.

It has the govt profile barrel, it even has the Crane stock and 9mm buffer in it which makes it heavier overall. It's balanced really well though.

When I shot M4arc's A2 build, I was supprised on how light a carbine really feels!

Did you guys ever bench that 556?

Lots of ARs at Lafayette on Saturday... another beautiful day for shooting.

I met up with a couple of friends there (one an arfcommer). I was sighting in a new scope for my new 10/22 build, one friend was shooting an AR, the other an AK.

When I got there, another friend was there shooting a couple ARs, one in 5.56 and one in 6.8.

A father and son were there trying out a new supressor.

As I was leaving, another arfcommer showed up with his AR.

Despite my not bringing my AR, it seems that ARs were in the majority there today.
