My son and I are planning on geeting there around 2PM (+/- depending on traffic). I'm figuring a little over two hours from my locale. Never been to the pit so we are a couple of blind mice in need of an escort. Thanks.

Will swing through PR before heading up. Anywhere from 12 to 2. On a side node, is there active logging going on? Last time up we met the crew coming down mid afternoon.

We were about 1/2 hr ahead of you and met the crew bus (a short bus  ) at the one lane bridge. I led a caravan and really didn't want to dive right to avoid a fully loaded log truck coming down. This time I won't have the big Bunny cushion to land on...

Since my sorry ass works from 0800-1700, it may be sorta late when ASG & I get there. Actually, 1700 is a SHTF scenario, as I could most likely get southbound at 1500 from SE Queen County.
I will try to make my vehicle stand out, but in any event, I need an escort. I don't yet have the ARFCOM Double-Super-Secret Squirrel Clearance. |

I found out today we may not get released until after 1630 on Friday (even though post policy is a 1500 release on Friday), so probably puts us at around 1800 to the park and ride.
