Some of the tourist stuff in French Lick and West Baden is affected by the reaction to 'rona.  We used to go down there for dining and hanging out at the casino but that's over for now.

What kind of dog did you get?

I got my Bostons from a breeder in near-by Shoals. The lady’s daughter breeds German Shephards on the same farm.

Kids? Indoor water park in French Lick is popular.

Go see the old dome hotel, it's neat (can't think of the name right now).

Wilstem Ranch is a neat animal place (elephants and other exotics) as well as horse back riding (not just in a circle)., but you may want to double check what is open (sometimes certain animals are off limits due to weather or maybe the rona reaction). Indoor go carts are pretty fun if there are enough riders to get a good run going but be careful, they're not your average cart. Friend of mine got an ER trip from a crash.

The casino if you're into that.

Food: there is a decent Mexican joint, but once again, can't recall the name.

We took the scenic route and went whiskey hunting in Kentucky.  Didn't roll into the hotel until 10pm.  With the exception of the pup the best part of the trip was going to a bar.  Yep we got to belly up for some beers and burgers in a packed house without any masks (bartenders were halfassed wearing them),  It felt good.
Grabbed some fireworks in Ohio but other than that it was a rocket run home.

That's it! We just ate there last week (we stayed over night at Big Splash) and it was good. 4-stars good (Not them best I've ever had but good value and it hit the spot!).

Good looking pup, OP. I have a client who got a Viszla from Shoals. Probably the same breeder. I think he's about 6 years old and has been healthy as far as I know.

Interesting that a town of less than 800 people has 2 nationally known breeders of 4 different breeds of dogs.
