Choppers are hovering overhead, and the 'protest' marchers are being escorted down University Ave. just a couple blocks from our home. We can hear & see the action from where we sit.

Scanner feed is reporting incidents of vehicles being burglarized and vandalized along the protest route. As of this writing, they have crossed Uni & Dale on the way to the state capitol. Naturally, we're locked & loaded - not looking for any trouble, by any means - but not willing to abide any violent abuse, either.

I'd like to take this moment to express our genuine love & appreciation for all of the local, St. Paul & Ramsey county law enforcement folks, who are thus far doing a superb and professional job. Our hearts & prayers are with you - please, please be safe, and go home to your loved ones in one, single piece tomorrow!

Not with a bang, but a whimper..
