Got there about a half-hour before opening. The line went out to the parking lot about 100 yards or so.

Didn't see a whole lot of ammo, and the stuff that was there wasn't cheap.

Crazy prices for black rifles. About 9-10 o'clock it became shoulder to shoulder, body odor and all.

Wasn't getting in early to find the best deals or anything, just browsing. Found a mag I was looking for, so did my friend. BTW, most mag prices are crazy high too. The prices we paid were "fair" considering the current market I suppose.

It got uncomfortable by 10AM - left with an AK sling - that's all.

Thank you very much.  Exactly what I wanted.

We left around 11, they couldn't let more people in because the building was at max capacity... the line was pretty long to get in.

I found one M&P mag for a fair price. Not much else. Looked like some of the sellers went to Fleet Farm and bought ammo or mags
and then doubled or tripled the price.
It was packed. I left at 10:20 and they were not letting people in until some left.

We got there about 1000.  The line was halfway through the parking lot and, as we were walking towards the end of the line, an escapee told us they were limiting the number of people entering to the number of people that left!

We left and went to Precision Sports and Fox Valley Firearms...

Got there at 9 and the line was about 50 out the door. It was packed, most of the stuff was over priced. and every other person around was trying to sell their over priced AR.  but I did score redding case trimmer for 45$ which I thought was a damn good deal

We got there at 7:20am and there were already 50-75 people in front of us. Left at 8:45 because it was shoulder to shoulder in some of the aisles and I don't handle that well.

Was there all day.  Even met a couple arfcommers.  I was there at a table with a buddy, selling retard piced AR's, and a crappy looking Tantal.  Also had stupid price Pmags.

Incidently, stupid price Pmags are still selling at retard prices.

I saw all the craZy mag prices.  I am not a gun show person.  Stuff was ridiculously expensive.  Even normal items were $40-50 more than Midwest Shooters.

It was a complete waste of time.  Minimal AR parts.  There were a few nice model 70 and model 700 rifles in hunting configs.  Ammunition was stupid expensive.  Disgusted by the $20.00/20 .223rds.

Oh yeah, had nutjob price on ammo too
Show was kinda fun when we didn't have to sell anything.  Turned down an offer of $1200 for a $600 rifle because i didnt really want to sell it.

My observations for the day, surprising to me at least.
95% of the guys buying my mags were older gentlemen, white hair etc.  Only 1 mag buyer looked under 45.
Saw lots of carry guns in holsters, but the were all empty/no magazine in.
Gun owners are a friendly bunch. Struck up long conversations with complete stranger mang times during the day.

I was there from about 9AM to 1PM.  Most of the same EBRs I saw for sale walking in were still for sale when I left.  The funniest thing I saw was an Over-The-TOP AR that someone had attached a pile of crap to and had everything Duracoated or some other brand camo pattern.  It looked like a photoshop picture that someone was trying to make a joke of.  He was standing in the front and people just walked by and rolled their eyes without bothering to ask the price.   I sold one DPMS AR at a reasonable price ($500 less than the next cheapest AR I saw for sale) and some PMAGS for $30 instead of the $50-55 everyone else was asking but not getting.    I picked up reasonably priced .30 Carbine ammo and even some Winchester .40 165gr fmj ammo for  $.35/round.  At Fleet Farm I found ARs for about $950 and converted Saiga 7.62x39 AKs for $625.  The ARs were Huldra's new line of DI rifles(Korstog) instead of their normal piston uppers.  The Korstog rifles use Voodoo barrels.  They still had unconverted Saiga 12 ga shotguns for $650ish.  I saw 2  guys I know and their sons buying rifles which was a pleasant change to see people buying them who simply wanted an EBR and were not looking to rape someone else on the price.

I saw that AR with all the muffle pipe and every possible thing slapped on it - I'm hoping the guy did it as a gag...

That "AR" was "x"perimental for sure.  "A whole bunch a WTF?". It was a 25 pound turd.. If they ever remake Da Turdy Point Buck.  That rifle will qualify as the triple barreled, laser sighted whatever.

It was crowded. Anyone see the rack of Colts? All new SP1's A2's and a match target I think. The fellows working the table had a nice collection of Garands also. There was also a fellow with some pretty good pricing on a few 03's and a few 03a3's. The table with the jungle stocked SKS rifles was interesting but at 450.00 I don't think sales were too brisk. I left with a can of assorted 308 and 06 hunting ammo and a belt full of Lake City  M2. Nothing was cheap but there were a few deals to be had early...then the place filled up with

Here is some film footage including the $2800 cartoonish AR which apparently has a shotgun mounted underneath like a M203.  Supposedly he was trying to raise money for his kid's college education.
