Just had a call from Mike McDermott -- the manufacturer.
His wife has just called him to let him know that an envelope has arrived from the BATFE with SEVEN Form 4s in it . He is in the process of assembling the cans -- I will be calling him later this evening to see how that is progressing. As to the mechanism to deliver these into our eager little hands, he has suggested that we might want to meet at the same place that we used for the form signing -- McMinnemanns -- so lets have your thoughts on that, and when is convenient. For myself, I can probably do any time this week. |
Sounds like a plan to me.
I won't be back in town until late Thursday night. So Friday night/Sat/Sun sounds good to me unless you guys want to do it earlier. I'll just meet up with him later. |
There are two:
Washington DC: (202) 927-8330 West Virginia: (304) 616-4500 |
IM a retard they sent my forms back because I forgot to sign them
Im a retard im a retart atagfjrijjretard retard dddrrrrrrrrrrr ETA: I meant to say, Im a form 4 Newb. some people may take offense to retard |
I'm there!!!! The sooner the better.
It's kind of funny. No Aim and myself were talking early on in the process of getting the .22 cans. We were both thinking that the we might prefer getting the .22 cans first to play with. We really wern't thinking that we would get them first. Thanks Alma!! Nox |
My can was approved on 2/9, so I am game to meet up sometime soon. I just don't know how long it will take the gubment to send the paperwork to Mike. I will be in central WA this Saturday, so that will not work for me.
A big batch was approved on the 9th -- yours is probably in that envelope that he received today. Ok on Saturday not being good for you -- looking like Friday evening at the moment (unless people really want to do it on Sunday). |
Just spoke with Mike McDermott - he can't do Sunday, but Friday would work well for him -- preferably around 6 to 6:30pm ??
Thanks Philip! Either would be good for me, but Friday would be the better of the two for me anyway. Of course that is only if Mike has received my paperwork. Yes Friday is better since I am anxious to get this can! |
Friday is ok with me. I think that he should contact the people who he has forms for or at least the ones that haven't posted yet.
I need a reminder to which McMinns it is ............. Address would be good. That's not my side of town. |
The address is 12272 Sw Scholls Ferry Rd, Tigard, OR 97223
Mapquest. We are trying to get a list of who he has forms for -- WS4LIF has the contact info for all of the people who participated, either he or Mike McD. should be contacting people -- but if not, call the NFA numbers listed above and check your status -- if you were approved on 2/9 you are almost certainly in the group of forms he has received -- others may arrive before Friday. |
I'm oh the belief that people should keep up on these things themselves but if I can get the list I'll try to contact the people.
So what you are saying is that if you were a dealer, you would not feel the need to notify someone that their form X had come in??? Ok, if you knew that your form had been approved recently, what would your next step be? Not trying to start something or troll. Just wondering. Nox |
I'd call my dealer......he is not here to hold my hand. But I agree he should call the members approved.
And if I was the dealer, I'd go out of my way to contact buyers........but I'm not the dealer here. OH AND YOU TROLL! Oh and I'm jelous I didn't mail mine out sooner! Only pending on Feb, 9th.........grrrrr But my other can paperwork is pending of Jan 24th...sent both forms same day, same packette. |
OK ... I sent an e-mail to all of the people on the original e-mail list, so they should now be aware that things are moving and that they need to do something.
The only reason I dragged WS4LIF's name into this was that when I spoke to Mike McD. he said he would be talking to him since he knew who was who, was the organizer of the bulk purchase, etc. Mike McD. isn't easy to get hold of. If you want to try his business phone number is 503.319.0931 |
Wont be me |
Not trying to hijack
Does anyone know if this can could be used on a .17mach2? |
Does anyone make subsonic loads? |
Are we on for 6:00 PM Friday? |
I think we have enough people to make it worthwhile.
I will give Mike a call this evening to confirm that he will be there. |
Please keep us posted. Thanks Philip |
The meeting at McMenamins (same place we had the forms signed -- see above) is ON for tomorrow at 6 to 6:30pm.
Seems he received 6 forms for our group. One person is picking theirs up this evening, that leaves 5. The other names he has are: Thurman Phillips Foster Akers Peake (Sorry if I misspelled any of these) |
Errrr what are you doing sat afternoon? |
I assume your examiner wasn't Alma |
Maybe Jason Frushour ?
He is the only Jason I can see on the list. |
I am there!!! Thanks Philip Nohair, That Norell is going to be awsome!!!! Can I be your friend at the next shoot? |
That must be him -nice guy on the phone. I was trying to read his stamp. I thought every one was my friend? at least until they piss me off. -Reasons for pissing me off- ask for a LITTLE trigger time on my 51b, dump 60 rounds, then tell me you can't replace it since you don't have any. NOTE: I'f I hand you my gun or ask if you would like to shoot it I don't expect anything. Just my pet peave .ERIC
I understand your pet peave 100%. I had a great time shooting your 51 at the last shoot, and really appreciate your willingness to let others shoot your FA stuff. I am amazed that other people would expect you to front the ammo for them unless they were a very close friend. Cheers on your new addition. [cheers] |
I was thinking of shaving my head and going out to Pat's to pick it up. However, I was concerned that since I'm already halfway there (Hair Wise) it might not grow back. |
BTW, TCGC has a 24/7 indoor .22 range. I was going to offer to take anyone who wanted to there, but a competition is being held until 10:00pm
The transfer was in OR so Pat was not needed. So tell him hi. I also am a member of a 24/7 range -It's called a Norrell / anytime ,anywhere and nobody will knowhen
When the neighbors get pissed and move, let me know. I'd make an excellent neighbor! On that note, what kind of 7.62 do you let that 51 digest? I think I owe you some |
You don't owe me anything, It was someone I didn't know. Not really a big deal just rubbed me wrong Eric
Ok, but you still didn't answer the question. That's like 3 times you've let me rattle off quite a bit of ammo, time to pay the piper. I'll get ya, SA battle packs do ya? |
Was it those 3 kids that showed up and didn't have guns.. they looked like they were 15-17yrs old. |
NOBODY owes me anything, at least the people I know here anyway. Thats part of what what I figure when I go shooting - Dose anyone realize that the look on your faces is better than my kids on Dec. 25 (at least you guys don't ask if thats all ,and I must inform you that you must not have been that good). The reason I go is to have fun and I do!! so again DON'T WORRY about it but thank you anyway. Eric

Hmm........my wife asked me that the other night too |
2" isn't enough??? |
Yeah, I hope your feelings weren't too hurt when she said that to you......you may see a doc about that some day |
I wouldn't take it to hard, she told me the same thing the other night also, Must just be her. Eric |

Damn floozie, oh well, she did make one helluva mean breakfast this morning |
I guess this is a bad time to tell you about me and your wife then? |
