Offutt will now allow you to operate like the base were a school zone.  If you have a CCW and are current or retired military, DoD civilian, or DOD contractor you can transport your firearm and store it on base.  Your firearm cannot leave your vehicle and must be locked up.  It's less restrictive than before and allows someone to CC to and from base and store their weapon in their vehicle while on base.  Normally, you cannot store it in your vehicle on base, thus you effectively could not CC to and from base.
