I have heard people say it needs to be a "hub"?  To me, that means the big operation off of I70 at the airport, but I'm guessing I shouldn't run around the airport with guns asking where to ship them.....

Where should I take a lower to ship it?  I need some information engraved on it!

There is one on the westside of Indy off of Morris St. I sent a lower out to Tom Sawyer from there. And also the hub on Perimeter Rd. at the airport, isn't really connected to the airport - so you should be plenty fine if you chose that one.

Sweet.

Question answered.

Now we can begin the endless debate over which carrier screws up what, which brand of AR is the best, the true definition of mil-spec, what your favorite kind of pie is, those pesky terrorists...............etc etc etc

By the way, where was your engraving?  I was thinking about inside the trigger guard.  I hate to take off a staked buffer tube, but what are ya gonna do?

Mine was done on the front of the magwell - I was going to have it done on the side but both sides were already marked w/ something. One side was marked w/ the original manufacturer info and one had the LEO markings. My next one will be on the side of the magwell.

I had originally specified to have the engaving done, on the inside of the trigger guard. But dumbass me left my Magpul enhanced trigger guards on both of my lowers, that I had loctited the set screw in. Steve called me, said he couldnt get them off, so I just had him engrave my info on the front of the mag well.

I just finished taking mine apart.  I was kind of worried about the castle nut being staked on, but it came off suprisingly easy.  That's the way most AR things are, huh?

By the way, there's another FedEx site on the East side you can use.  It's just north of 82nd St on Bash, just west of I69.  I've shipped a number of hand guns there and they are always very professional about it.  They'll probably ask to see it, so don't tape it up before you go.  Good luck!

I looked at their web site and found that one.  I will probably use that one, since I work two blocks from it.
