Great shootin Noaim!  Pretty impressive!

I wish I was goin, but could not pass up the opportunity to go to the SHOT show

Maybe next year???!!!

Yeah! Be our reporter and tell me where to spend my money!

Thanks for the comments. There's still room for improvement. I'd like to get it down below 1 MOA (~3"). This is from my scoped, 20" HBAR, free float AR.

This is the one that WS4LIF scoffs at. It's an Olympic Arms upper, Mega low, Oly parts kit, and Mueller scope.

From Randy (head of Practical Rifle competitions):

Don't forget to prepare for the Seventh Annual Practical Rifle Sniper Match on Saturday, February 11th, 2006!  We will have a trophy for the match winner and plaques and certificates for other top finishers.  Match fee is $20 for the Sniper Match to help pay for trophies.  Our defending champion, Dee C. will shoot for free.  You can expect to get wet and/or muddy and you will feel like a warrior when you finish.  Bring your most accurate rifle and 36 rounds of ammo.  At least one stage will be a Sniper/Observer stage, so you might want to choose a partner in advance so you don't get stuck with someone like me.  There will be no pistol at the Sniper Match.

I try to set this match up so that the winner isn't necessarily the best shot, but the shooter who knows his rifle and his own capabilities.

This was shot from the same rifle I use to shoot every P/R match I attend.  Unlike some people who switch rifles like golf clubs...   sheeessh...

Edited to add:  Hey No Aim...  The won't let you shoot that shotgun at the sniper match...

Wow...a 3 shot group. Now pony up and get 10 in there in under a minute.

And I have to swtich rifles. I don't think my AK would do so well.

Now you know as well as I do that I couldn't keep 10 shots under 1min...  Thats why I stopped at three.   All my other targets I shot that day had flyers like crazy...

I know semi off topic sorry!

Have any of you used the new accutriggers?  (The one with the little bit of holed metal infront of the trigger)

Ive seem mixed reviews, but thats it... reviews.  No personal accounts.

Latest rifle I bought (.270) had this on it, as well as every other savage model the store had at the time.

Just wondering mainly if theres an advantage to them or not.  Thanks!!

So wich gun should I use?

The Ar is sighted in for the most part, and the M1a is not even close, but I plan on getting them both ready before the shoot.  Wich would you choose.

You should use the shorty with the Aimpoint. Give the rest of us a fighting chance.
