Worst gun show i've ever been too!!!! More airsoft guns than real guns....no joke. Great deal on Colt LE6920's....$1995.00 plus tax!!??

My NC Gun Show outings are becoming fewer and further in between or however you say it....
 Fayettenam show 5 years ago was really good. |

Bought 1K 5.56x45mm, .5K .45 ACP, .5K 9mm, 784 .30 M1, 600 .30 M1 carbine; 2 Glock 19 magazines; 4 .50 cal ammo cans; cleaning gear; and a M1A1 carbine stock (repro); M1 carbine, M14 and 5.56mm repack kits.
It was busy as hell. Wish Ammunitionstore had had some more ADCOM 5.56x45mm this trip. |

My point exactly. Knives, airsoft, toys. Very few real firearms, even fewer that drew any interest with me. $580 for a Glock 36. $400+ for an SKS. $6-900+ for ak47. $200 for nagant. All of which were available for 50-25% of that at the dixie show. There was a decent deal on a bushmaster or an olympic AR15. My total expenditure: $3 for a black silent sling that I need to wash first, and $2 for a charging spoon. I couldn't find any AR parts or accessories that I was after. |

I'm sorry to hear the Fayetteville show has degraded. It was the best show for miles around in years past. I suppose the economy isn't helping much. In 2002 they were practically shoveling milsurp rifles out the door at the Raleigh show. Hopefully things will pick up when the economy shifts.

It was one of the worst I've been to. Quality on this show goes down every time. I did pick up a new Saiga 410. I've been waiting for these to come back for a loooong time. Best part was it wasn't priced much more than they were three years ago. The 12's have gone up about double though. Also had some ammo here this time, last time no one had bulk milsurp. Got some .308 South African. That and the peanut guy was there again. Love his stuff. When he finally stops showing up I'll quit going all together.
