Shoot Straight (Tampa) has them on sale for $129.00 and LPK made by DPMS for $69. The one guy who works at the BRD area is finally gone with all his "expert" knowledge. But I did hear from one of the young guys they have there now say, "SAPI plates aren't rated for .308". Nothing changes, just rearranges.

ETA: I also saw a factory Sig 556 SWAT(?) SBR there. I didn't know Sig was doing those. Tag read.............$3,000+.

Also, I went there to finger bang a Kahr P9 or PM9, and they had neither model. I really want one, does anybody in the Tampa area have one I can check out or know where they have some in stock? Thanks.

I was asking SIG about this at the shot show this year. They said they had no plans for one. They sure changed their minds in a hurry. I think this is a limited run of the 556SBR. List is about $2000.00. For that I think I'll just keep this one for now

That's what I told the guy behind the counter.

I was there last week and asked one of the guys the difference between a Sig P228 and a P229. He told me "A number."
