I just wanted to let everyone know I wrote to both senators a couple of months ago about not supporting any more AWB, And how all of us law abiding citizens love to shoot these type of weapons for target practice,,etc,,, And this is what I recieved from both offices,I will cut to the point, " We support individuals rights to own weapons for hunting"...... And the rest is blah, blah, as you can tell you know where they stand, Dont get me wrong I am a independent voter and I will vote for anyone regardless of their party if I agree with them, But I will not be voting for these two next election, So make sure you spread the word,Or if you would like go their homepages and e-mail them and you will get the same as I did,,Just thought you ought to know,,thanks Walter

I have wrote Mrs. Lincoln no less than 10 letters in the last 2-3 years.  None of her relpies indicate she is anything other than a liberal.  I've only wrote Mr. Pryor one letter, he's like his daddy hard core lib demorat.  Our Dem. Rep's are'nt much better.  FWIW, I have never voted for either one.

My wife and I have written to lincoln about other bills and found that political reps. (loosely used term) are all for our vote and not for the will of the people. This I find to be detestable even to the piont of the ideal of running for election myself on a progun, prolife stance.

You should do it. Run for something like JP or if possible State Rep and work your way up.

I am 28 and have considered a run for a senate seat:

Pro-Christian
Pro-Life
Pro-Gun
Pro-Hunter
Pro-Military
Pro-American First
Anti-Welfare State
Anti-Socialist
Pro-Small Government
Pro-Spending Caps
Pro-Common Sense
Anti-Entitlement (except entited to our rights as in the Constitution)
Anti- Income Tax
Pro-Fair Tax/National Sales Tax Only
Anti-Social Healthcare

As you can see, I don't have much of a chance of winning.

It depends where you live.  If you are NW Ar you might have a shot.  If Jim Holt can win a Senate seat anyone can.
