Steve Silverman from FR&I will be at the Albany Rifle and Pistol Club, http://www.arpc.info/, on 9/23-9/25 to teach his Level-II Handgun Class.
IMHO, Steve is the best bang for the buck in defensive handgun training. Steve teaches his courses all around the country to civilians and law enforcement. I took this exact class in Austin, TX 3 years ago, and if my schedule opens up, I'll be there on 9/23.
FYI, Steve is a licensed Utah firearms instructor, so completion of this course will make you eligible for a UTAH out-of-state carry permit, and that covers quite a few states.
More information can be found at: http://www.f-r-i.com/
If you have any questions about the class, feel free to ask me or call/email Steve.
