FL laws on firearms

Hopefully you guys have the info I am looking for. I will be traveling to FL in a few weeks from KY. Will be spending time camped out in the Gulf on a stilthouse. I am thinking of bringing along my AR for protection. Are there any laws I should be concerned with regards to weapons on the ocean? What does law say about discharging firearms on the water etc? Just curious. Thanks for any info.

Discharging a firearm across a navigatable waterway is a misdemeanor. Trust me
